ELIXIR GUITAR STRINGS REVIEW

After trying a couple sets of Elixir Guitar Strings on my Stratocaster and my acoustic I must say that these are some great strings. You definitely won't find a set of strings that last as long as Elixir strings. The electric guitar strings have a really bright sound that stands out and lets every note ring clear. I also like the feel of the strings. The coating that they put on the strings to increase their life span doesn't affect their feel. When I first saw Elixir Guitar Strings I thought that they were a little pricey but now they cost the same as most other guitar strings. The only thing about these strings that I didn't like was the sound of the strings when you first put them on. They have a weird metallic sound at first. Luckily after you play them a little and break them in it goes away. Nothing major since a lot of guitar strings will sound like this at first.

The Elixir Acoustic Guitar Strings also give you the bright tone like the electric strings. These are probably the best acoustic strings that I have tried. I am very picky when it comes to acoustic guitar strings. My only problem with the acoustic strings are that I had to buy the light gauge strings to get the same feel as what I normally use. The strings just felt a little to fat for my taste. But like I said after switching to the light gauge acoustic strings the problem was solved. I tend to play my guitar strings until they break or just simply wear out. Luckily with the Elixir guitar strings they last long enough to save you money in the long run. Not to mention you don't have to replace them right after you get them broke in good like a lot of cheap guitar strings.
